Independence Day Alien Crash Diorama

ONE OF A KIND, Custom built Independence Day Crashed Alien attacker ship. (2015 JERSEY FEST GOLD CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE, 3RD PLACE BEST VEHICLE IN SHOW). Much research and many hours went into this build which depicts the scene when Will Smith crashes the alien ship that is chasing his F-18 trough the desert canyon. The ship is painted in layers of acrylics to achieve it’s unearthly appearance. The ship was basically built into the cliff base to simulate skidding into the earth. Weathering was done with a series of washes in between clear coats, oils and pastels with a final flat cote to finish off the piece. Battle damage is visible on the port side of the craft which is also partially buried.    The demensions on this piece are aproximately 14 inches in diameter by 6 inches to the top of the ship.
