Description
Marvel collectors, up for sale is an outstanding build up model diorama of the Incredible Hulk. This model was crafted to bring out every possible detail that the kit offered. The figure consists of 18 individual parts meticulously assembled with attention to filling every seam line over many days. The hulk was given several light coats of gray primer to fill in any minor surface imperfections and pre-shaded prior to painting with water based acrylics. The wreckage parts on the Hulk’s base were finished in acrylics with a real rust effect for just an awesome look. After airbrushing was complete a clear gloss coat was applied prior to detailing with a dark wash. Weeds were added to the background of the base before a final flat cote was applied. I always like to add a little extra to my models, so a routed wood sub base was fabricated with a texture cote finish. (This is a model that any Marvel or movie model collector would be proud to have on display.) The photos really don’t do this piece justice. It must be seen up close to be appreciated.
Many hours of work and different techniques go into the process of creating a truly unique model display of this type in my effort to always bring something new to the table. Another thing to consider when looking at a model like this is, yes there are mass produced models that may cost less but that is exactly what they are, mass produced models of the exact same thing. This model for all intense purpose is one of a kind.
